Health and fitness are prerequisites to a long, happy, and wholesome life. If these aspects are ignored, it can lead to weight gain and the development of obesity along with a slew of other lifestyle diseases that can threaten our health. With the increasing amount of fast food available and the ease of access to it, many people can be found struggling with the problem of weight that is spiraling out of control. Being over-weight not only leads to a decreased sense of self-esteem but also makes us lazy and lethargic. Exchanging an active lifestyle for a sedentary one can cause numerous health problems and diseases that in turn can leave us with feelings of discontent and dissatisfaction.

_MG_4530 Weight loss is something a significant portion of Americans and people around the world think about, especially since changes in the BMI system ten years ago created a sudden obesity "epidemic" by altering the definition of obesity. Overnight, a lot more people were classified as fat! However, even if you’re not paying attention to official classifications, it’s definitely true that we move less and eat more than we used to.
