We hear constantly that getting more exercise is good for us, with vague promises and warnings about how activity staves off disease. However, most of us don’t actually know what exercise can do for us - at least not in detail. Which exercises provide the greatest benefits for particular parts of the body? How much exercise does it take to be healthier? If you don’t know the answer to these questions, read on.
In this age when most teenagers are into electronic games and gadgets, exercise is sometimes crossed out of their daily activities. It may take a lot of prodding for them to get into some kind of regimen but considering the risks of a sedentary lifestyle and weight gain, encouraging them to get into a daily exercise routine is very important and will leave lifelong results.
Weight reduction is not as simple as just losing the excess fat. It is also about maintaining the optimum weight and not easily regaining what was lost. Exercise plays a very important role in both weight loss and body fat reduction and weight maintenance.
For some people, exercise seems to be a scary thing to do because of the sweat and pain that are equated with it. Some even initially think they are too lazy to get themselves into any regimen just by the mention of the word exercise. But daily exercise is a vital aspect of good health.
