Traditionally, one of the hardest things about working out, especially when you’re first getting started, has been the act of actually getting yourself to the gym on a routine basis. With so many potential roadblocks—getting all your gym stuff together, making sure your apartment or home is all in order before you leave, and then finally making the actual trip itself, which depending on your location could be a miles-long journey—it’s no wonder it can feel overwhelming. Not to mention actually finding the time, when gym visits usually require at least an hour or two to get there, work out, and get back. It’s clear that "hitting the gym," while in theory an easy task, can be much more difficult in practice. But there’s an obvious solution: home gyms! Specifically, the IPacific Home Fitness Gym. Taking the cost-effective and healthy venture into creating your own home gym can present a few challenges. What equipment? How much space will be needed? If the exercise area is to be used for weights or floor work, what type of cushioning is most effective to protect your floors, offer soundproofing, and provide the most comfort? While the type of equipment depends on the workout routine of choice, the space being used (no matter the size) can be easily converted into a professional-style home gym by utilizing interlocking rubber mats. You are on your way to the gym and you just realized you forgot your shorts again. You’re not going to go back home and then back to the gym, so you either work out in your pants or skip the workout. Wouldn’t it be better to just work out at home so you have your clothes, shampoo, and everything else there? You also don’t need to worry about people seeing you all sweaty and messy. The pull-up machine is a great piece of equipment to build your back muscles and strengthen your back. When using the pull-up machine always keep in mind that you are pulling your own weight, which can lead to injury if not done properly. Before you start an exercise be sure to visit your doctor to make sure that you are able to do this kind of exercise.

Why spend a thousand dollars a year on a gym membership, when for a couple of hundred you can make a home gym and the results will last you a lifetime? You will have no excuse not to go to the gym—as a matter of fact, the idea that you spent a couple of hundred dollars might be motivation enough. Many people don’t see the problem with buying a gym membership for under a hundred dollars a month and never going. What they don’t realize is they are paying a thousand dollars a year to sit at home. While you are at home, you might as well exercise.
